AutoCAD training
Most of the training provided is done by distance learning methods. The course is either delivered as hard copy workbooks with supporting drawings on disc, or entirely electronically
Students work through the book submitting the required exercises via email for comment and correction as required. On the 6 part ‘AutoCAD for Theatre’ Course at the conclusion of each part is a test session consisting of a locally invigilated Multiple Choice Questionnaire followed by an electronically submitted Drawing Exercise. This follows the requirements of the City & Guids 4351 paper, which although not part of the course, you will have covered all the requirements of.
For Educational Establishments, by arrangement it may be possible for tutorial and testing sessions to happen at your site.
Training for versions of AutoCAD from 2000/2000i is provided in a number of ways. The course work for AutoCAD 2006 will be available from September 2005.
If you wish to take the ‘AutoCAD for Theatre’ Course this is provided via the ABTT and you should contact the ABTT office. You will need to be a full member to take advantage of this or be part of an organisation that belongs to the association.
The ABTT can be contacted as follows:

If you are an Educational Establishnent looking for training of students in AutoCAD then you should contact me direct to discuss your requirements. Courses can be tailored to the needs of students and staff.
I am also now offering learning support for AutoCAD - A Handbook for Theatre Users. Using the book as course work, users submit the various exercises in the book for comment as with the other versions of training.
With all the various course options, full support is available via email. The support extends to not only the course work but general CAD related questions and problems.
For more information on any of these options contact me at the address below. Use the buttons on the left to look at the Syllabi for the courses and a sample from the first part of the ‘AutoCAD for Theatre’ Course
